Exciting News: Launch of Our First Therapy Group in Our New Clinic Space
We’re thrilled to announce that, following our move into our new clinic, we are now able to launch the very first of our brand new therapy groups.
Introducing Roots and Shoots – a carefully designed group for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1. This programme focuses on developing the essential “roots” that underpin success in school, supporting children academically, socially, and physically.
The group will be led by Rachel, our fantastic Occupational Therapist with expertise in Sensory Integration, and supported by Jenn, a qualified teacher. While Jenn has been an integral part of our therapy operations team, she is especially excited to step away from her desk and work directly with children again in this hands-on setting.
Making full use of our beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, Roots and Shoots will offer rich, engaging opportunities for children to explore and develop skills that can sometimes make participation in school more challenging.
At the heart of the programme is a Sensory Integration approach. You can think of Sensory Integration as the brain’s “traffic controller.” Every moment, our bodies take in information through our senses – what we see, hear, smell, and feel. Sensory Integration is the process that organises this information so that we can respond, learn, and play effectively. It’s what happens beneath the surface to help us confidently navigate the world.
We’re incredibly excited to begin this journey and to support children in building strong foundations for learning and development. Please see the flyer below for more information, and be sure to Contact Us if you have any questions, or to book
