2026 has already been a busy and exciting year for us, and we thought it was the perfect time to share a little update with you, and what has been going on behind the scenes!
Juniper Tree Therapy turned 8 in March. It felt really special to celebrate this milestone with our team of 8 – each person playing a valued and vital role in the care and support we offer.
Our biggest news is that our little Juniper Tree – lovingly rooted in our Alwoodley “pot” for the past five years – is getting ready to be “repotted” to a new home at Mortec Park, LS15. It’s hard to believe how quickly those five years have passed. It feels like just yesterday we were coordinating renovations while navigating the challenges of Covid and social distancing.
Back then, Juniper Tree Therapy was a much smaller team – just Emma, Joy, and Nick. In fact, Joy’s first two weeks with us were spent working remotely after she tested positive for Covid the day before her very first day! It certainly wasn’t the easiest start, but it set the tone for the resilience and adaptability that has shaped us ever since.
Since those early days, we’ve grown and evolved in so many wonderful ways. Now, we’re delighted to be expanding into Mortec Park, – a space with beautiful grounds, a welcoming community, and room for us to grow even further, including additional therapy rooms.
Alongside our move, we’re also looking forward to introducing new services, such as therapy groups and other exciting projects that we can’t wait to share with you.
